Privacy Policy

Wizeworks (“we”, “us”) is scheduling, estimating and invoicing software for electrical and other field-service businesses, operated from Holden, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information the service handles and what we do with it. Questions: wieslanderelectric@gmail.com.

Information we handle

• Your account: your name, email address, business name and contact details, and a password (stored by our sign-in provider, never in readable form).
• Your business records: the customers, properties, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, photos and files you enter. You own this information; we hold it to run the service for you.
• QuickBooks, if you connect it: when you choose Connect QuickBooks, you sign in to Intuit and approve access. We receive a token that lets us send your invoices and customers to your QuickBooks company. We never see your QuickBooks password. We use the connection only to create the customers and invoices you ask us to send, and we do not read, sell or share the rest of your QuickBooks data. Tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time from the QuickBooks page, which also revokes our access at Intuit.
• Assistant (Wize): what you type to the assistant is sent to an AI service provider so it can answer and set up records for you. We use it only to provide the assistant to you.
• Usage and technical data: basic logs (such as errors and request times) needed to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, send the messages and documents you tell us to send, and support you. We do not sell your information or your customers' information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to run Wizeworks: database and file storage, hosting, email and text messaging, payment processing, an AI service provider for the assistant, and Intuit when you connect QuickBooks. They process information only to provide those services to us. Each company's records are kept separate from every other company's.

Your choices

• Disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the QuickBooks page.
• Ask us to export or delete your account and records by emailing wieslanderelectric@gmail.com. We will act on verified requests from the account owner.

Retention and security

We keep your records while your account is active and delete them on request, except where we must keep something for legal or security reasons. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and per-company separation to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell account owners.
